About Doctor
Dr. Garima Sharma, presently working as a Professor in the department of Physiology, DMC & Hospital, Ludhiana, did her MBBS in Year 1996 from Govt. Medical College, Amritsar. She pursued her post graduation in Physiology in Year 2000 at BJ Medical College Ahmedabad in Gujarat and passed her MD Physiology in year 2003 and stood first in Gujarat University. She worked as a Tutor in BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad from February 2003 to June 2004. Then she joined Baba Jaswant Singh Dental College and Research Institute Ludhiana as Assistant Professor in Jan 2005 and worked there for 4 months before joining DMC as Assistant Professor on 4 th May 2005. Her main area of interest is reproductive physiology and she has done research work on premenstrual syndrome in young females. Besides being a passionate teacher, she is actively involved in all college activities and is currently the coordinator of cultural committee. She is also running the music club of the Institution.
