With over 25 years of experience, Dr. Ashwani Kumar Chaudhary is a globally recognized neurosurgeon and one of Punjab's most distinguished specialists. He is highly skilled in advanced Micro Neurosurgery and has performed over 12,000 neurosurgical procedures. His work focuses on complex neurological conditions, such as stroke, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), and cerebrovascular surgery for aneurysms. In addition, he has extensive expertise in treating tumors of the skull base, especially meningiomas and schwannomas; treating epilepsy; treating spinal tumors; treating trauma cases; and treating head injuries.  
Dr. Chaudhary was born in Nangal, Punjab, and attended DMC&H, Ludhiana, to earn his MBBS and MS (Surgery). Then, at PGIMER, Chandigarh, one of India's top medical schools, he earned his MCh in neurosurgery. He received training from some of the world's most renowned neurosurgeons, including Prof. Vinko Dolenc (Slovenia), Prof. Robert Spetzler (USA), and Prof. Majid Samii (Germany). Through these experiences, he has improved his abilities and introduced top-notch neurosurgical knowledge to India. 
Through his many publications, book chapters, and supervision of numerous research theses, Dr. Chaudhary has significantly advanced neuroscience research outside of his clinical practice. With an emphasis on micro-neurosurgical anatomy and sophisticated surgical techniques, he has trained 16 MCh Neurosurgical residents and has a strong passion for teaching.  
Raising the bar for neurosurgical care in Punjab and India is Dr. Chaudhary's goal. The future of neurosurgery in the area is still being shaped by his commitment to patient care, research, and teaching.
